I knew you were the master of scale armor but I now proclaim you the master of ripped denim. I know that sounds silly but those threads in the tears are great. You don't normally see that attention to detail in Hulk's "uniform".

Great image! I'm assuming the markers are Copics? I know I can't get anything like those tonal variations from Prismas or Pitts.

The Hulk was done with Prismacolors and the BG was Copics. I'm slowly working Copics in.

I picked up a black copic at the Heroes Con when my prisma died on me. I've done a few pretty good illos with the prismas, but it seems like the copics have a much broader and subtler range, at least in skillful hands.

There's a slightly better range with Copics, but the blending aspect of both is about the same. Prismas have a slightly smoother finish I've discovered. Copics have a slightly mottled finish. The overall result is pretty much the same, but I've been using Prismas so long that I'm much more comfortable with them at the moment. Copics have refills, so they win, but I'll be intigrating them slowly.

I always try to make the most of cons... and at least say "Hi" to folks. You must have been making the rounds too. Hope to see you set up and with a sketchbook next year. Until then keep posting!

It's mostly done with Prismacolor markers. Cool Greys specifically. I'm also using Copic markers too now. I use a bit of white watercolor and white Prismacolor color pencil.
