Description
"Tango" was inspired by Strictly Come Dancing or ("Dancing With the Stars" in America) even though the dancers aren't taking part this year, it was taken from their stage show "Midnight Tango" with Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace. The romance of the dance is intense and the reference has great atmosphere.
Drawn on A3 Extra smooth Bristol Board, using Mechanical pencils 0.5 HB, B2 & B4. Graphite pencils H2 - B8, Blending sticks, BluTak & Tissues. It took around 49hrs and I have to say I've really enjoyed drawing it. It's probably been the most enjoyable drawing to date.

i hate those tv shows but this is truly a fantastic job. i'd love to be able to see the stubble on his face close up. this is one of those drawings that doesn't seem to have a single weakness! doubly impressive since there are lots of complicated parts and all kinds of different textures. well done
