Another speedpaint. This time, I forgot what I was going to draw partway through... So, I ended up with some pokemon fanart.Lucario and Giratina.
It's fairly typical, but it was a fun picture to draw. The angle was a bit difficult, but I like the atmosphere in the finished picture.

Speed paint....I will never fail to be impressed with how some artists work with it.

They are a lot of fun to make, and help me discover new methods to improve my pictures that take longer.

I think you're thinking of something like OpenCanvas. There are a few programs that let you do that.
When I say speedpaint, I'm talking about the style. These speedpaint pictures probably take around 1/10th the time that some of my larger ones took, for instance. It's like a challenge to make a complete picture quickly.
They're difficult at first, but get easier as you get used to them, I think.

Yep. I forgot what I was going to draw. I made some nice clouds, had dinner, and couldn't think of what else was going to go on there. The clouds were tilted at an awkward angle, too.
That's when I drew the Lucario.
After thinking a little about what it should fight, I decided on Arbok, then upgraded it to a snakey Origin Giratina to make things a bit more epic.
It worked out well in the end, I think.
