Tempest has always been a person to put their set tasks above themselves, striving to accomplish her goals and gives it her all in order to do so. The sudden addition of obtaining the role of a news anchor only makes her push herself even harder in order to accomplish what others want of them, upholding her task of bringing the truth and current events to the city's citizens in a higher place. Her self- discipline drives her to work long and hard hours, voiding most free time and enabling her to become a better, more powerful person. Despite gaining power and knowledge everyday, she doesn’t let it all go to her head in which it would eventually make herself gain a superiority complex over others as if she is better because of such. In a way some would say that she is humble, easily gaining the celebrity status that comes with being the host of a popular news show, but does nothing to actually claim and take advantage of it as she would rather just lie low and complete her job as efficiently as possible.
She isn't completely without fault of course. The castform can be very mischievous and deceiving just to get the information she crave, not afraid to build and burn a few bridges in the same day in order to get some results. Just traits that comes with the job especially being in a city as suspicious as Pokeyo. Her flippant ways and mood can also be partially blamed upon the weather. As a castform, her mood is sometimes reflected upon the weather just as her typing is. Ranging from having the fiery personality of a heated day or to the frigid coldness of a blizzard. Knowing this, if the conditions aren't normal then she'll attempt to distance herself if possible with the usual excuse of feeling under the weather.

Tempest was born to the parents of the usual lower class citizens although they were more outspoken than most. Her parents unlike many weren't afraid to talk about how they were displeased with their way of life, how displeased they were with the current state of the city and most importantly the mayor. While this may have been a problem should they have said anything publicly, the resorted just to keeping their complaints behind closed walls just for the sake of their child's safety. Although from such a young and impressionable age, she always heard them speaking of their little conspiracy theories within the confines of their homes, sometimes inviting others who thought the same to plot and plan what they could.

Growing up she was often filled with questions of why things were they way they were, why there was such a difference from the shacks she lived compared to the places the legendary and celebrities lived, a place that she could only dream about just based from the rumors going around. The never ending questions led to her wanting to learn about anything an everything about their world, easily excelling at her schooling and every so slowly moving up in the world. There were many opportunities presented upon her thanks to her high scouring academics, opportunities that would put her in a better place than most low class citizens and enough for her to live comfortably for the rest of her life yet she took the risky chance of working with a news team. Why? She determined that she would be the voice for the people that couldn't speak out for themselves in fear of discovery and punishment so they wouldn't be forced to just be discontent in private. She worked her way up from a simple intern to actually being one of the main anchors. The perfect spot to being her real goal, discovering and exposing all the secrets of the mysterious city they lived in.
