**Alternate title: "When the Star Spirits Align"**(2/12/24 update: Oops, corrected the title lol,
misheard Undefeatable's lyrics as having "When the Stars Align", but the alternate title still rolls off the tounge for me so that hasn't changed!)
Fun little fact that Super Mario 64 is kind of at the core of my heart and soul given the influence this game had on me, being my first ever video game when I was as young as four years old.
So inevitably, soon as I heard a Mario 64 cover of Undefeatable (Sonic Frontiers), this was absolutely going to happen, there was no way around that.
The initial posing for Mario was set up in MMD using SAB64 's Mario model port, then additional effects and the background, all from Mario 64 minus the fire/aura being given an alternate palette, were assembled using FireAlpaca! Mario himself was put in front of a green screen so I could later chroma key the green out to get Mario by himself.
Mild influence from Super Mario Bros. Z as well btw, using the Superstar Mario Palette for his super form.
