After one failure too many, Jessie, James, and Meowth are sent to Team Rocket's laboratories as test subjects. Subjected to numerous 'treatments', the three of them are dramatically changed--Jessie develops light powers, James is able to turn into a living shadow, and Meowth becomes a half-human, half-Pokemon creature.
