Silver_love's Icaros gave me the chance to try a whole bunch of new things, including wiring, more 3d workings, and more work on dying fabric.Each crest feather is wired inside so the crest can be posed. This was a whole heap of fun, I love the colours and except for a few things, am very happy with the result.

My goodness, I am so extremely sorry, it has been far too long, I know. This year of uni has just eaten up everything including my social life and a lot of my projects kind of got pushed to the side.

The head is a hemisphere. There is a crest 'base' that is a triangle, it's fairly well hidden in the photo. The bottom of the triangle is sewn into the head at a certain angle. Each of the five feathers (with a wire inside) is anchored to the bottom of the triangle and behind it.
