So apparently I make plushies sometimes.A little rusty after so long but pleased with my first attempt at a "pony". It was 's birthday this past weekend and he just so happens to like Zecora, kind of a lot.
Been meaning to do this for a while and the oppurtunity finally arose (okay to be honest it was funds holding me back -_-) So - beanie style Zecora. Totally new "pattern" by me (I really should learn to actually make physical patterns instead of cutting things out straight onto the material :/). About 50/50 hand and machine sewn. Fur and mane are minky. Plastic crosstitch mesh inside ears, mane and earrings to hold their shape. Hooves and jewellery are satin. Eyes are layers of coloured felt. Cutie mark is wax (whee circles are fun to draw especially in wax onto fur). Stripes in fabric marker, brushed through fibres while wet. Stuffed with rice in the feet and polyester fibrefill everywhere else.
Some things I'll do differently if there is a next time. But happy with it as my first pony ever.

Oromo: That stands to reason, as it's unknown to those from outside my tribe. It's the day I exchange vows with my chosen bride.

I don't care much for formal attire anyway. The only thing I'll be wearing is the traditional vowspeaker jewelry.
