In my visit to the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem this sculpture caught my attention. This man was not jew. When the jews were being persecuted, he chose to protect jewish children. I don't know which children were they, or if they were orphans or not (probably yes)... but what moved me was the heart of this person. He was asked to give away the kids but he refused. He was killed and the same happened to the children. Maybe we are not living the same situation but we can stop and think for a second. How much do we appreciate life? How much do we appreciate Human beings? We are still humans and we are still messing it up. We are still having enemies and we are are still killing ourselves without reason. We are still critizising, we are still hating. Is there ever going to be an end for this? There will be...
