It's always best to remember the days
so you can look back and remember your ways
remember the way that you once did you hair
or the stupid ass tattoo you got a dare
all the things you look back on
and all the things that you won't
just remember the things and all you ways you were taught
don't live life like a flower a forget-me-not
all the things in life you that matter
like when, where, and what
all the things that you do
and the skills that you show
all the different things that you forgot you know
I strive to stay blind
and I strive not to blink
I strive for all things that do make me think
I try to remember all the ways that I grow
and all the bridges I've burned
and all the people I've scorned
most them still pissed off
wishing there was days I wasn't born
I can't quit remember all the stuff that I want
but that's fine with me
