I find myself watching Indie movies lately.
Not because they feel my realistic,
But because they make you feel safe,
Regardless of what type it is a horror, a suspense film or a Slice of Life film.
You feel at piece with your surroundings.
I find myself watching films like Garden State
When I want to feel like a person again.
It connects me back to my life and all I do.
Then I realize that I really have nothing to miss.
All I have are wants.......the want for a better life.
A new interesting life one where I can look back and say I love you and I love life.
I need that happiness I've been wanting. I can't quite find it.
So I watch these movies to help find me.
Find my happiness that I so crave rather it be here or someplace else I'm not sure but I need to fine it.
So I write it.
I write my slice of the pie.
My slice of life.
Everytime I think I know what I want my mind flutters away to someplace else, not to someone else.
I tell myself that I'm gunna quit flirting with every girl I meet or every girl I use to flirt with.
But, its the hardest thing I've had to do.
Especially considering that I have so many inside jokes with them.
I have so many when we get married jokes that my imagination play outs our lives and I want those life's.
I want my slice of life,
I keep coming back to that my slice of life.
Thats what I need
My Slice of Life.
