Together hand in hand
we take the floor
knowing its what we are so post to do
The look in your eyes
matching mine
endlessly lost in each other
the rest of the world no longer mattering
just you
and I
Stuck in this moment
frozen in time
hand in hand
our feet knowing where to go
what to do
I can see you start counting
1,
2,
3,
4,
1 2,
3 4,
I just simply smile at you
and you tell me to laugh
I try not to giggle at your frustration
you wrinkle your upper lip at me
You tighten your grip on my waist
afraid to fall
feeling that it would make you look foolish
especially in front of everyone
I lean in close
"You are doing fine,
don't worry no one cares."
to which you reply
"I care
and this is the only time we're getting married.
Everything has to be perfect."
I look deep in your eyes
and tell you with love dripping from every word
"You are perfect,
just like this moment."
and kiss you
the on lookers
and guest all let out a loud awww sound
which embarrasses you slightly
but you blush
then turn to the people and stick your tongue out at them
In this moment we are perfect
and nothing can change that
