Broken down
let the rest of everything

I keep trying to run
running backwards into hell
mainly I think so I can't see see
what's sneaking up on me
stand blindly in front of the bodies

the voices beneath my feet yell

is my only response
but I receive nothing in the end
So I'll keep running backward
I love the feeling of your laughter

followed by broken laughter

fuck it up
burn it down
squander your gifts
all these things I've done
mainly in the last year
I've burnt the candle
