She spends her days waiting
waiting at the last place she saw him
no matter the weather
she’s always there
hoping that he’ll return
knowing that the sea has stolen him
stolen him for the 2nd time
This time unlike the last
this time no one’s heard back
he always sends word back
She nolonger pays mind to anyone else
always stuck looking
looking at the thing that has stolen from her
stolen her heart
stolen her happiness
stolen her love
The tide brings no news
or smiles
or cheer
it only brings
more days
and time wasted
staring to the sea
waiting tot the chance to see the one thing she desires
the single ship that would bring back her joy
With light comes lantern light
constantly flashing code
not one of rescue
but one of love
it starts with a two shorts
followed by short long tow shorts three longs three shorts long short
and ending in long short five longs two shorts long
never changing the message
always I Love You
With every ship the enters the harbor
hope fills her face
only to be stolen right after docking
her missing love
lost at sea
never to return
always leaving her with hope
