Description
So the realisation of Darkseid in Zack Snyder's Justice League left me a little perplexed. He just didn't look right, both in proportions and in some of the animation. He was too slender in his build and not intimidating enough. For me, Darkseid should be this hulking slab of a character. Like a concrete block. A kind of elemental presence - sheer power. He is a god after all.
Anyway this was an excuse to try using only lines - no soft rendering at all, but just loads and loads of strokes to add volume and tone. I think it worked out ok.
