same lol i love it ^^ well stardust is a movie to... its about this guy who promises this rlly bitchy girl thast he'll go over the other side of this wall in their town thats all forbidden and stuf to get her a peice of a shooting star but the star turns out to be a girl and he falls in love with the star but all these witched want to cut out her heart so they can b immortal and theres a lot more details but.. yeah

yeah ive been looking for new stuff too. i like Stardust because everyone only knows it as a great movie, when really, it started out as an even greater book! its sad how so many ppl dont even know the books the movies they love are based on

oh i do hate when people rave about a movie and overlook an even more amazing book. the books are always better than the movies. the irony here is that i actually went to film school.

why thank you. and yes that would be a metaphor. it's a metaphor when it is something (it usually uses is, are or directly shows a relationship of a man in the comparison). similes use like or as in their comparisons.

that's the way i think of cameras. it's like meeting a new friend who has had this entire life before you met them. each ding, scratch and scar was a moment of their life you may never get the story to, but it doesn't mean you won't get to know them. them being cameras in this example, in your case it would be a book.
