Description

Another image inspired by the Tabletop RPG "Starfinder" (related to the similar TTRPG "Pathfinder", which is in turn a derivation of the Dungeons and Dragons 3rd Edition rules): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starfind…

In this case the character is from a race known as the Shimreen, who are essentially beings made of 'Living Crystal': www.aonsrd.com/Races.aspx?Item…

Her 'Class' is known as "Solarian', people from a somewhat monastic order that can manifest weapons (or armor) formed of Light or Darkness, and follow a philosophy known as "The Cycle", based on the Birth, Life, and Death of stars: www.aonsrd.com/Classes.aspx?It…

Awhile back I had picked up a 'crystalline being' character pack for the Genesis 8 Female called Asterya for Genesis 8 Female by Hellfyre 71, so thought I would use it to depict this race.

I know, I know: I did an image without overtly sexualizing it, for a change?

Well, I wanted to get the 'Base Form' down before doing that, so something may happen to her in future images to achieve my 'desired' form

Something I've  noticed about the illustrations for Starfinder (and other 'Modern' TTRPGs) is they don't include unnecessarily 'sexy' artwork, like you might find in games of old,  Previous editions of D&D, for example, had the occasional 'Chainmail Bikini' Barbarian (Clyde Caldwell was my favorite D&D artist for such).  As far as I know, there isn't any real 'cheescake armor' in Starfinder, but I decided to go with this just to show the 'crystal body' underneath.

As usual, I may do something 'naughty' with the character in the future, as I'm slowly getting out of this 'creative funk' I've been in for quite awhile now.
