7 years in early access and a 30 bucks price for not much, considering most of the content has been made by the fans (characters, maps, scenarios, etc..) through the workshop since the Steam release..
some cool ideas but ultra repetitive action once you get bored of flying jump kick every other mammal you come across..
I read the thing about how it's not about winning the fights but how cool one can make their choreography..
But after 30 years playing beat'em ups and barely 10 hours in there, it really is just a cheap advertising trick..
The videos you can find, even promotional ones, only show you the same moves over and over..
Talking about comprehensive anatomical reactions in combat (and rabbit characters), check again the ever great 'Tobal'!

Too bad, cause for a couple hours, I was like 'Wow, dis is Tenchu meets Usagi Yojimbo'!!
And again, lots of good ideas in the lore as well..
A bunch of evolved mammals philosophizing about their relation to life and death the way it's done there, is actually beyond anything I've read
(so far) in terms of interpretation of ethology!
But instead of digging deeper and building around such cool ideas to make a cool comprehensive universe on its own, the license already spread out on 2 different universes full of holes
(one asian wu xia/chambara, the other more medieval europe),
where some fundamental questions, like what about other animals
(than cat, dog, wolf, rat and rabbit),
can never be answered...
Or maybe with other medias, like the fan comic book they have on their website for instance..

Remains that Turner is definitely a cool kung fu version of Usagi!
