Atlas spent along time creating his universe, he crafted each planet with something unique. Some were inhabited by sentient creature and some were only wild life. One planet was like a giant desert, filled with sand so white that when the sun hit it the sky filled with color! No real purpose for that planet, not even for when his creature grew knowledgeable enough to travel their space, he just liked the idea of it and made it happen. When one of his planet's creatures discovered Art he was very interested in their renaissance(s)- he would visit them and learned what they had discovered for themselves (art, technology, science). Like all his sentient creatures they had dreamed of him. Some of the creatures had depicted him as best they could in art- sometimes he was male, others female. He was glad his creatures were so happy with what he had given them. He rejoiced in Life and Creation. Of course not all of his planets and galaxies had been good ones. In fact his very first planet was a tragedy. Being new and excited, he created his first creatures quickly and without much thought. They had been large and dim. Atlas loved them all the same. He watched as they grew and as they did he became more distraught. They may have been dim but they warred with each other. They killed each other, fighting for the resources he so lovingly gave them. Still he watched, with a sick fascination. He had created many planets in this First galaxy, each had Life. When his cruel creature finally started devolving technology, he feared they would reach the stars. Still, he did not intervene because he still had hope; hope that either they'd never thing of space or hope they'd learn better then war and Death. Sadly they failed him and in turn he failed them. As they began readying their first space craft, Atlas unleashed a painless Death Bringer onto their planet. They all died in the span of days of an incurable plague; men, women, and children all perished. There would be no saving for them. Atlas left that Galaxy and only returned to visit with and care for the other few planets there, he never came close to the First until the day the First galaxy's sun started to die. All the planets and creatures either slowly died with heat or the creatures escaped in large ships they had created themselves. On the last day before the sun was to supernovae, Atlas step foot onto the First planet and walked the world. There were ruins of large cities all over but mostly it was run over by the wild life he had left alone. Atlas walked the First silently, only when he came upon a ruined toys of a small child, did he fall to the ground and weep for his cruel creatures and what he had done. He had loved them, failed them, and destroyed them. He vowed never to interfere directly with his creatures ever again- never again would he interact with them. He would let them grow and live naturally. And that is what he did. He watches them from afar now, never speaking or living among them. He feared they would think the universe cruel if there was never any help but surprisingly they still dreamed of him with love- some even thanked him for the very life he gave them. And so Atlas grew a wiser and more loving Myissues then he ever expected to be.
