This is a very nice tutorial, very easy to follow. I'm sure it's not so easy to do, though!
I am another person who would like a skin tutorial. Your skin tones are wonderful. If you could just list the steps you take, what software (filters, etc.) you're using. It looks to me like Lucis Art is in there somewhere.
Thanks! Love your work!

CindysArt In reply to bnolin [2010-03-27 16:56:57 +0000 UTC]
What is Lucis Art...?
To the skin I dont do different and other I think.
I use dodge en burn a lot to bring out the highlights.
Thats why it sometimes look a little shiny.
But that is what I do. Sometimes a little painting also.
The hair tutorial is very simple. But it helps to start with.
I porbably make a new one when I have the time

bnolin In reply to CindysArt [2010-04-02 19:53:53 +0000 UTC]
Lucis Art is a photoshop plug-in that's very popular with professional photographers right now. But it costs nearly as much as Photoshop itself, which is crazy. Anyway, they use it to get a similar look to some of your works: high contrast, very striking.
You must be a dodge and burn master! I'd love to see a tutorial on your technique sometime.
Take care!
Bob

Dezzan? how do you do the 2ΒΊ and 3ΒΊ brush list in tutorial?
π: 0 β©: 1
CindysArt In reply to fernandda [2009-08-12 05:56:47 +0000 UTC]
You can use any hairbrushes you like.
It dont have to be just those.
I dont have any link to those brushes, because I got them from a friend
But You can also make your own hair brushes. Sometimes I do, its fun
Or you can search for hair brushes here on DA and you will find a lot of them.
You can use some similar, its not that important actually

Cindy I do not understand the grey flood fill... is that so you can see your layer of hair better?
π: 0 β©: 1
CindysArt In reply to DesignbyKatt [2009-06-09 11:05:02 +0000 UTC]
Hm...grey flood fill..?? What do you mean? Sorry I dont understand.
Ahhhhhh maby you mean when I use dodge and burn on a grey layer.
Well you shall never ever use dodge and burn on the original hair.
You take a grey layer and change it do soft light. Then you dont see the lyer.
