I was playing with the idea of rendering out randomised drips and letting them steer the painting. In this example the rose ended up overpowering the drips so that part of the study got pushed back and ended up more subtle than I intended. On the plus side I found that painting in bright colors to begin with (then reducing with browns) worked quite well.
