Recently I looked at the awesome work by El Nigro (instagram: elnigrotat2). They work with quite heavy and bold blacks and harsh contrasts and it was really inspiring. And since I sketch primarily with my brush pen this shading style works quite well
Materials: Faber Castell Ecco Pigment 0.1, Pentel Brush Pen with Koh-i-nor technical ink, Pelikan Chines White.
