I have analyzed and researched to find the point of this comic, but after a few hours of hard works and the muffin standarts on the highest, i spotted some important "swoosh" near the "death note" object.
Taken these all these quincidences into account i can hereby conclude that Scout were the helder of the "death note" object, right before the muffin fell.

The entire issue, including the changes to the episode were not done by the studio that makes the show. Rather, they were done by Hasbro and the Hub network. It was not the show creators' decision.
