One project I've been working on for a few years is my What-If Pokemon AU! It goes along with my general Pokemon stuff with Circi Fox and some OCs I already have. Its something I don't talk about as much as it isn't well developed. I was inspired a lot by MrBuddy's old "What if [X] is a Pokemon Region" videos as well as his Team Buddy saga. I basically wanted to combine those concepts into my own region. I'm not the most confident about making Fakemon or Regional Variants, so I'm just sticking with official Pokemon for now since I haven't figured out a design or ecosystem for Allustra yet.

Originally, the 8th Gym Leader in Allustra was my character Peace. Angel ended up butting in once I started doing some runs with him if he were a pokemon trainer. As he's a fairy type specialist for the most part, he ended up flowing into the role naturally. Peace still has a role in the Rosewood Gym though. She's Angel's apprentice and a leader-in-training. I remember those were a trainer class in Pokemon Battle Revolution, so I wanted to apply them. I have more information on his Toyhouse.

I wanted to work with a fairy forest aesthetic for the background. I see his gym as being foggy and having a misty terrain effect in battles. There's a variety of fairy types used, as Angel embraces all sorts of them. While I see Angel himself using strange and creepy fairies, Peace uses more flowery ones. That isn't to say Angel dislikes cute fairy types, but he prefers "unconventional" ones. His ace is his Mimikyu, who is named Bunny.
