Hiding from the Kommo-o, Yuki explains her plan. "Ruby I need you to go and get Akiko and her Ursaluna. While you're doing that My sisters and I will take our Pokemon and try to calm the Kommo-o down. I want Maxine to come but she is yo..." "I'm going whether you girls want me to or not!" Max interrupts still rather upset from before. She then storms out from behind their hiding place and heads back the way they came to start the fight. Yuki sighs. "Anyway, that's my plan." She turns to her sisters. "Let's get going." As the Kimura sisters get to their feet and begin to leave, Ruby speaks up "Oy! Should we bring Kitsune or her Goodra as well?" She asks. "That won't be needed. We'll have him calm by the time you get back." The oldest sister explains. "You say that now." Ruby calls out to Yuki as she and her sisters leave. She shakes her head and hops over the fence to her home.

The Kimura sisters make their way toward Maxine and the Kommo-o and to their surprise, they find that Max has forced her foe back to where they met him. Taking a moment Natsu turns to he sister "Yuki?" she asks. "Yes?" Yuki says. "I'm not saying I doubt your plan, but what are we going to do about Max?" The Middle sister asks. "That's a good point." Momo chimes in. "Unlike us, Auntie Max isn't going to listen to you." Yuki sighed, her sisters had a point. "You're both right. She'll do as she pleases in a battle. So we'll just have to work around that for the time being." She explains "Now are you both ready?" her sisters nod and their Pokemon confirm that they're ready. And with that, the siblings jump into the fray.

"Bloody, Son of a Ducklett!" Ruby gripes as she races into Akiko's house. "Akiko? AKIKO!!!! Where are you?" She calls out, as she's kicking off her shoes, Akiko's Rowlet, Kapueo comes flying in. He flies into the kitchen and comes out with Akiko's water bottle. Slipping her shoes on again Ruby follows the Rowlet as he flies towards the barn. She decides to call her friend again. "AKIKO!" Finally an answer "In the barn." her friend/groundskeeper calls out. "Akiko! We got trouble! Max and the sisters are in a fight with a Kom..." Ruby rushes into the barn but her explanation is cut off by what she sees. Akiko is kneeling next to the Kimura sisters' long-time friend and traveling companion Emiko near the back of the barn. In Emiko's lap is a Jangmo-o. "Alola." Akiko greets her. Emiko waves "Konnichiwa Ruby!" she says. A confused Ruby approaches "Umm... Ello. What do we have here?" She asks. Emiko speaks up. "What, this little gal? Long story short I was on my way back from training and found her after she got injured during her training. She was in pretty bad shape so I brought her here so Akiko could heal her." "I'm quite surprised to find a Jangmo-o so far from Alola." Akiko says stroking the Scaly Pokemon. "We got them in Galar as we... Hang on, hang on! I'm getting distracted! Does this one have a Kommo-o as n older brother? Because there's one not too far from here that the Kimura sisters are trying to calm down while Max is just battling him for fun." The Jangmo-o perks up at the mention of her older brother. "Look's like she does. Will you be needing my assistance to help calm her big brother?" the groundskeeper asks. Ruby shakes her head "Not necessary. But thanks." the Jangmo-o leaves Emiko's lap as she gets up. "I'm coming with."

Back at the fight, the sisters were feeling pressured. The Kommo-o wasn't calming down and any progress they made was quickly squashed by Maxine who was actively antagonizing their foe so that battle could keep going. Natsu and Yuki started to notice that Maxine is not aware that they were even there. With just a glance at each other, the older sisters knew what to do. They position themselves in the right spots and launch a ninjutsu ice beam from Yuki while Natsy conjures up a flame thrower. Their attacks collide with each other causing a small explosion in their foe's face. "Huh?" The Mawile questions looking around. Finally noticing the girls. "Oh, right! You three decided to fight as well." "Maxine. Please help us calm him down!" Yuki begs as she dodges the Scaly Pokemon's attempt at close combat. Unfortunately, one of Kommo-o's scales on its tail breaks off during the attack and flies into Momo's leg. "Owie!" She cries as she falls to the ground. The dragon turns towards the little girl and draws his fist back but stops and sees Momo is very young much like his sister. Not wanting to waste his energy he turns his attention to Maxine and Jolteon. Natsu takes the opportunity to scoop up her sister. "Are you OK?" She asks. "My leg hurts!" Momo wines. "Don't worry we go... We'll beat him in no time." Natsu reassures Momo as she gets her little sister onto her back. "Once we find his sister we'll see if we can get Ruby to bake us a chocolate three-milk cake!" "Really? Do you mean it?" the small child whimpers. "I can't promise that she'll do it, but it's Ruby! She loves baking." her sister replies. Hearing this Momo starts to feel better. "But first we need to calm him down." Yuki explains as she reaches her sisters. " I think it might be best if we let our Pokemon do the battling from here on out." The oldest thinks out loud as she checks Momo's leg. "Speak for yourself Yuki. I'm gonna go drop off Momo back with Ruby and then get back here to beat him personally!" Natsu exclaimed. "No! You're going to stay here, carry Momo, and help calm him down so we can sort this out by the time Ruby gets back!" Yuki says with a stern and commanding tone as she scowls behind her mask. "Eep! S-sorry Yuki!" Natsu whines in fear before turning back to their objective.

Expertly commanding their Pokemon and with a little help from Maxine the Kimura sisters soon brought the Kommo-o low. But just as they think they've won light begins to surround the dragon type Pokemon as this happens he starts dancing. "Clangorous Soulblaze! Girls get out of here!" Max orders. "Wha..." "Area of affect Z move! Now GO!" The Mawile interrupts Yuki. BONG! A soccer ball comes flying past the sisters and hits the Kommo-o's scales hard enough to startle him out of his dance. He looks in the direction the ball came from. "I'm back!" Ruby calls out. The sisters watch their foe but his stairs in Ruby's direction. "What heck Ruby? We do all that work and ca... Oh. Never mind." Maxine starts to complain to her trainer. The Kimuras turn to see what's going on. They spot Emiko holding the Jangmo-o instead of the intended Akiko and Ursaluna. "YOU had the Jangmo-o all along? Do you have any idea what we've just been through?" Natsu snaps. "Sounds like a fun sparing match with a powerful Pokemon to me." her friend says as she and Ruby walk up to the sisters and place the Jangmo-o on the ground. She runs over to her older brother and explains everything to him, now understanding his folly The Kommo-o lowers his head and with the help of Maxine apologizes to the girls for his short temper and accusation. He then picks up his sister and the two take their leave.
"Mataatode! Maybe we can play together next time!" Momo calls out. "Let's train together some day OK?" Emiko says to the Jangmo-o as she and Kommo-o disappear into the forest. With a sigh of relief, the group of girls heads home.
