Finally, after several years, I’ve drawn my personal King Candy/Turbo cybug monster design. I always liked the original but kind of lamented that it was not more monstrous. Like, his head more or less stayed the same. Give me more body horror!!
Mine is also more Turbo-heavy than KC but that’s just going along with my personal HCs.
I’ve given him a beetle-like horn to echo the T on his helmet as well as a crown, with the golden tips. The frilly bits I’ve turned into bristly bug fur that calls back to KC’s hair a bit. He has more reds and yellows for Turbo, and he’s darker in color. The symbol on his belly can be found in the concept art for the cybug queen in the WiR wii game. He’s also got sorta scorpion-like ridges on his limbs and articulated pincers hidden in his mouth.
