“Hey you!” someone hisses at you from behind, and you nearly leap out of your skin with a yelp! But then a hand claps over your mouth, and you realize...it’s your friend! They were supposed to meet you in the next village, but as they quiet you down and lead you a little deeper into the cave, they begin to explain. A huge, strange Stryx they had never seen before came out of nowhere and attacked their sled, stealing some of their eggs! And thank Galyx their trusty Stryx, Lurk, was there to chase it off, or your friend very well might have died! Or worse, lost ALL of their eggs! But before you can begin to lecture them about their priorities, you see their damaged sled and Lurk sitting nearby, wounded.

“Let’s get you taken care of,” you say gently, and with determination. Your friend clearly needs your help, and no matter what might be waiting out there, you’re going to do whatever you can to make sure they get everything left on the sled to the village, so that your people will have everything they need for the winter. It takes until night time, but finally the sled is repaired enough to get on your way.
