Thomas: *in a full body cast, lying on a hospital bed* I just don't get it.... They never seemed so angry before.
Kristy: To be faire, you are kind of a selfish jerk from time to time.
Thomas: How so?
Kristy: You ruined Arthur's spotless record for a cheap joke. You nearly killed Ryan by giving him bad coal and them letting pick up dynamite. You avoid Rosie like she's the plague. You get your panties in a wad every time a new engine who is better than you shows up. You blame everyone around you for something that's your fault.
Thomas: I get it. ....Hey, you're not mad at me, are you?
Kristy: *looks at her phone* Nah..... *Thinking* 'Get him! Get him! Get him! '

I'm pretty sure that most of us had seen an episode where Thomas is awful to another engine and is forgiven at the end. Every time that happen I think; 'If that were me, I would've been pissed!'. So, this pic demonstrates if the Sodor engines actually held grudges and knew what 'revenge' was.

Seriously though, Thomas is such a selfish engine. At first it was just him being a silly little engine, but now it's like 'Jeez'. I think he does a better job at portraying vanity better than James or Spencer. He seems to have the 'main character' mentality; thinking 'I can do whatever I want without conscience because I'm the star' He is legitimately a diva; thinking everything has to be about him like that one time with the statue of The Steam Team and recently in the new special when he instantly thought the 'special friend' was him when it was actually Daisy. When another engine is even remotely close to Annie and Clarabel, he gets into a hissy fit over it because they're his. He forgets that Annie and Clarabel are allowed to have friends of their own without his approval.

The biggest thing about him is that he's notorious for starting things off 'On the wrong foot' with new characters. A few examples; Stanley, Ryan, Elizabeth, Emily, Stepney, Rosie, Arthur, etc.. Sure, sometimes it's because the other character set him off like Elizabeth, but most of the times, it's just him being a little brat. He's like a child you claims everything as 'his' and what really stinks is that every time an episode deals with this, it goes back to square one in the next.

I'm not saying that I hate Thomas, he still has his good trait, but I feel like this is something that most people miss about him. I think the only one who actually captures this side of him is DieselD199.
