So there's this movie, "1492: Conquest of Paradise" -- it's about Christopher Columbus; I LOVE that movie !

(This does not mean I love Christopher Columbus -- I have neutral feelings about the man himself; I'm just keeping the dialogue in character!)

How does it pertain to this comic?

In the movie", Columbus is played by Gerard Depardieu, who is French (this is what he looks like)[link]

Because of this, lots of reviews on the film complained about Columbus' French accentXD (like this one[link] )

And if people worldwide disliked Depardieu's take on Columbus, just imagine Italy's reaction to their national hero speaking "en francais" XD!

But, either way, I LOVE this movie, not caring (much) about the accents^_^!
