Last year I had one lone Orchard Oriole visit late in the season, well after the Baltimore Orioles had returned. I was surprised that he had stuck around until it was time to migrate back for winter. I was even more surprised to see that he had returned this spring, and this time he arrived before the Baltimore Orioles. He's still alone, no other Orchard Orioles around, but I hope he continues to stick around and hope he returns each spring for the many years to come. I've come to call him Rusty.
