I'm glad you do as well!

I think it's fair to say, I treated BIF rather unfairly, I shall give it another go and see where it gets me. This time around, I shall have more patience and understanding methinks...

Very true, but usually this only works once a good solid friendship has been well established, and in "real life" that's hard enough to do, let alone on the internet.

Excellent leading lines, and good use of subtle contrast in the lighting. Composition is wonderful. As for the subject... she's a beautiful locomotive. Love that cranberry paint!

Thank you. She is a stunning locomotive, I myself absolutely love this engine, and the cranberry red is officially named Crimson Lake, however this is often referred to as LMS red, as LMS were the only people that adopted such a livery for their express passenger locomotives.
