Description Leaning through the firemans side window as many an enthusiast has always done with any locomotive. However here, it's much more interesting. With most of the various handles and levers needed to operate the locomotive, looking at such a thing can never be boring.

However to take a photo of such a scene is quite problematic, as every time I put my lens through the window I was greeted by a cloud of hot steam, which not only impaired my vision but also steamed up my lens.

It is worth noting that in this photo, the Driver's brake valve (bottom left) was previously fitted to her sister, as you can see.
