Hmm...I agree. They can be vicious when wild (Noah's ark has animals of all species running around...the peacocks and ducks are AGRESSIVE) but pretty cuddly when tamed well enough.
I like penguins for the same reason you do Their waddles amuse me. I like turning the discovery channel on and watch the penguins attempt to run away from predetors with friends
We bet on who will win and root them on like me and my uncle with Canadian football (soccer) xDD

It's also creepy to me how big they are...
I remember so many years ago (lol) my kindergarten teacher made the tallest kid in our class stand up and said that was the size of an emperor penguin
OoO
Penguins are naturally angry as adults. They have to spend three freakin months without food to take care of the eggs, the little brats hatch and began eating the food out of their stomachs until mom comes back and as they grow up you have to waddle around with them in between your legs D:
NOW we have global warming and thats just adding to the poor penguin's stress XD
But I don't know about the ones in the zoos...they're naturally snappy, I guess, since they have to privacy and constant peanuts being thrown at their heads... (parents have no control over their kids these days...who sticks their hand at a baby manta ray to see if they would get stung? anyone? geez..)

Exactly. Zoos are... terrible. I do not mind animals that are native to the country where the zoo is, but yeah, people are not interested in what they want already xD
But on the other hand, small penguins are adorable. Hard to imagine they will grow up in such grumpy bastards xD

But sadly, no baby geese. My uncle decided to sell them all but only keep mine D:

awww. Geese are so cute D:
I like suffer from the same thing. I don't need to be around human babies, but like... puppies, kittens... always make me awww.
Anyway I had a very funny happening with ducks. Well, there's a load of mallards all around (blame the local pond and people who feed them. Thanks to this, the mallards tend to expand their territory and waddle all around between blocks of flats and so). Me and my friend were walking down the street, when we saw three mallards ready to cross the street. Of course, there was some traffic. The mallards decided to cross it, no matter how many cars was around. So, when the first car came, the mallards were right in the middle of the street. The driver stopped and so did like five others. Tha mallards, unaffected by this, continued waddling and quacking. Like from some stupid cartoon. Then they crossed the street and quacked. The drivers, when realized what had been the reason of delay, were all like: LOL
Fowl can be amusing sometimes

...and dangerous. Even endangered geese are a force to be reckoned with O.O
I went to Noah's Ark and they have birds of all species free to walk around. Crossing the bridge to get to the big animal enclosure, there's a few geese with chicks in the small stream:
Me:"AWWW! SOO CUTE! I wanna pet 'em!"
Stephanie (my homeschool tutor): "NO! I know you may have a zoo at home, but no more pets! Did you forget that rabid squirrel from last time?!" (true story...)
Me: "I just want to pet them!"
Stephanie: "Ugh...fine. But I'm not telling your Mother when you get hurt."
Me: "You won't have to, 'cause I won't. Here lil guys...I don't wanna hurt-OWW!"
I fell in the pond when the mother goose basically rammed into me. As for squirrels, I believe they're like your mallards. My tutor lives in the same neighborhood as me, so when her, my schoolmate, and I went to the pond for science class there was this HUGE fat squirrel on this bench. I bent over in non-threatening way and attempted to give it bread from my lunch. Stephanie warned me when she saw it hunch over and face me, and pulled me back, but the squirrel already launched itself at my head. It wasn't rabid, thank god, but it messed my hair up and gave me a few scratches... D:
Wild animals are wild animals....
But yeah, baby humans aren't as entertaining as animal babies. I find baby animals to be amazing sometimes. Humans are smarter than animals, but animal babies are smarter then human babies while growing up.
Baby birds of any species can be real soft and snuggly as well...Less likely to lose an arm when petting a tame goose then a lion

They look freaking adorable on the outside, especially when babies. (they sell them at the cemetery here in Algeria ) Even albino rabbits don't look so ebil. But turn them around or put them on a glass table and look at their underside...the horror! Long, sharp teeth and long curled nails...
Llamas were once terribly adorable, I kid you not. Then it...became overused. Cliche once they hit the screen in Camp Lazlo. (LLAMMAS ARE UNICORNS LMAO)

YES, exactly. It's a fad. When you ask those so called wolf lovers what's so amazing, they often do not give you anything sensible in answer. Some of them argue with their lifestyle, but... hey, even dogs can do that, so...
Yeah, I like dobes. Partially because of their antagonisation in culture (While watching Oliver and Company, I was all like >:! NOT SURE IF WANT). Well, despite thinking they are so damn cute and their character traits are interesting, I love Anteaters and Aardvarks. Aardvarks are possibly the best animal ever. And fruitbats.

I personally find admirable traits in every animal. I may favor some over others, *and as long as they're not spiders- I hate all eight-legged bugs except tarantulas XD*
It's not just how cute they are, like how most people are only liking the animal for is the cuteness factor. I may gush over baby animals, but overall I find even the most disgusting animals as interesting as a baby kitten.
Yes.
Aardvarks. Are. Awesome.

Bunnies interest me. They're one of those quiet pets that always make your wonder what they're thinking and are just full of surprises.
Ostriches scare me. And so do some of my uncle's pigeons. I just cling to him the whole time he goes in their enclosure D:

Never encountered an anteater except at this animal...exhibit thing. Forgot where. Oh, my other uncle's associate has a friend with all this exotic animals here in France. I saw a video of him and his anteater. They seem so graceful, quiet and gentle when moving in there...
When they sniff the ground, and turn to blink at you...nose twitching...then proceed to trip over their anteater friend pointedly in front of them is indeed WIN.

It seems only felines and canines and the 'in' thing. Maybe it's because they look good with sparkles? Idk. I seriously wonder where the fandom got the wolf thing.
My years in grade school I go weird looks over my adoration of wolves. I was talking to my best friend in fifth grade last year and she said that once they saw her drawing wolves, the entire classroom began to. Then it spread throughout the school. I was like, WTF? They don't even know the first thing about wolves or their anatomy. It's sad.
I plan on having a career with animals and wolves. They're just drawing it for..kicks.
But I must admit hearing them stutter stereotypes as facts is funny.

It was my B-day yesterday. I wanted to get a big hat with lots of sparlly junk (you know, like in Dr. Suess) and when people stare at me, I can lean over and whisper 'It's my birthday' very smugly.
Sadly, I didn't get that but as a surprise we went to this Wolf conservation park thing here in France and got to see the biggest bridge in Europe. Pretty cool.
The squirrels are vicious here as well, though. I shouldn't have brought nuts as a snack, but at least the Canadian wolves took care of it...(they had wolves from different parts of the world)
