I am just so obsessed with Hazbin Hotel right now!!I don't really draw backgrounds for my art, I just add a 'bokeh glitter' background and call it good 😅 so this was nice practice for me!
Also really focused on shading for this one, it was pretty difficult for me!
I've been watching shading tutorial videos and tried to apply some of the stuff I learned from those
Most use a textured brush to make the drawing look 3D like on the flat parts of the image
The part which best shows that I did this is around the nose area, it was really out of my comfort zone! (Normally I just do cell shading, duplicate the layer, and add a blur LOL)
Also proud of the hands on this one! Not too bad I think 😆

This drawing is of Alastor after the fight, when he crawled back into his radio building
I tried to capture the 'self-disgust' he had when he realized he almost died saving his 'friends'
I really think that he just thinks that he shouldn't be friends with anybody at the hotel, but he can't help himself
He's thinking "I'm weak for letting myself almost DIE for them" when in reality he built bonds with the people at the hotel, and they are his real friends
but that's just what I think
