They laid curled up next to each other in her bed; she looked up at him and smiled. “That was great,” she said, “let’s do it again.”
He agreed and they started kissing. He felt around her jaw line and decided to try to take the mask off her. He dug her fingers under the mask and started to pull. She opened her eyes wide, she was out of the masks power, she was in control again. But suddenly the mask grew over his fingers and he let go. The masked snapped back on but was farther past her jaw this time. He pushed himself off of her.
“Josh, I’m so sorry, I-“ she was interrupted
“What is that?”
“What do you mean?”
“Your mask, the thing freaked out when I tried to take it off.”
“Look Josh, just go.”
“What?”
“Go Josh!” he grabbed his clothes and ran out. She got up and put clothes on. She was finally in control again. She felt the mask and when she touched it, it pulsed and withered. She looked at herself in the mirror, her green face, her perfect skin. It was all amazing and felt amazing but she needed it off.
