I've always wanted to try making this one day. Too bad I don't eat fried food . Oh well. The idea to finally get off my butt and make it, was because of the carnival my church through on the last day the students went to school. At this event they made funnel cakes, but they would not turn out right. After making the cake in my own kitchen, I found out you need the right equipment to make it or it will fall apart, or not cook at all. But regards of the students still enjoyed themselves. Now with the one I made, I actually got it right the first time!!! Yay!!! However I did end up cooking the middle a little too long. This was a great recipe. I would love to make different types next time with fruit, chocolate, cinnamon etc.
