It's the story between .hack and .hack//G.U.
After .hack 5-6 year later The CC Corp. ( In game ) had burned.The World main server all crash,but Aura try to restored Three Azure Knights so that why all of them look evil.

After .hack//project (4 Vol. in PS2).5-6 years later CC corp. main server of "The world" had burned.All data in The world gone but Aura want to protect Three Azure Knights Hero of The World.She repair data of three of them,but can't fix perfectly so that why they look is like that.
And they can't talk cuz they're all A.I. that Aura create for protect The World:r2 in form of Three Azure Knights.
That all I know.

In game's story after Kite story 5-6 years.The main server of The world have burned.All files corrupt at that time,but Aura try to back up Azure knights' charaters.But can't do it perfect that why they look has changed too much.
