Well, yes. The movie had all kinds of randomness, some of it never really went anywhere. It was funny, but I think in current context (ie today) it feels a bit stranger than it was intended to be. Back when it first came out, I'm sure it made a bit more sense.

Brilliant! It actually has an extra resonance for me,because the artwork for the original 'National Lampoon's' poster was done by a guy called Boris Valleijo (possibly?!I may have that confused though!!) whose art book I once had - and I think he was semi-spoofing Frank Frazetta....?!
Whatever though,....this is still SO cool!(In a post,post-modernist way?!)
