First deviation of the year!
Honestly, I was very nervous about submitting this for the contest, considering that this is my first digital painting ever created. Entering a contest using a medium in which I have little knowledge wasn't exactly the greatest idea, but at least I know what works and what doesn't work and was able to challenge myself a bit more.
The painting:
I had an intense fear of dolls when I was a kid and horror movies involving dolls or a person with a doll-like appearance only made things worse.
I apologize if the image looks way too dark (or too big) on your monitors.

I love it! It reminds me of my childhood fears of porcelain dolls and Chuckey. I had a doll that belonged to my sister that wore a red velvet dress and hat, it was supposed to be a caroling doll for Christmas. Her arms were extended (as if to hold a music book) and her mouth was open like she was singing. My sister was afraid of it and refused to have it in her room, so of course I got stuck with it until my parents were aware of my fear due to constant nights of sneaking into their room XD Damn, I hated that thing...
So yeah, this definitely reminds me of that creepy caroler.
