About time I did this guy don't you think?He was a birthday gift for my friend Hannah. She's one those who can name 'em all but still loves Pikachu best.
Made from fleece with wire in the ears. :3

wow, i have a question about these hats, are they machine washable? because i noticed in your tutorial that you use sharpy. i would hate for one your amazing hats to run in the dryer D:

You can wash them, but I still wouldn't suggest dumping one in the washing machine. The color shouldn't run, but it'll fade slightly and your fleece will thin and won't be as soft. Hand washing with some mild detergent and air drying is best.

What sort of wire do you use, gauge and whatnot? Trying to picture it in my head and it would seem it'd be prone to bending and disfigurement if you weren't careful.
And yes, you'd think you would had already made a Pikachu hat.

I use 20 gauge steel wire, which is soft enough to bend by hand yet strong enough to not get crumpled.
