"Morin, your armor is amazing," the mare said randomly. "I mean it's different than anypony else's and it's made just for you. It's just so amazingly special!"

Morin Hoof laughed and looked at his companion. "Well, thank you. I actually like it a lot myself."

Clemi folded her ears and sighed softly. "I wish I had a set of armor for myself. I mean, I know I won't ever be good enough to be a royal guard, but... you know just for fun?" She bit her lower lip looking at him, "It's just so expensive."

Morin stood there for a few moments looking at just how sad this filly looked and he smiled. "Well I think I can help with that, come on."

The filly looked stumped as to what he could mean, but followed along anyway. "Morin, seriously, I don't want you to pay for it for me. It'll cost far too much and I can't let you do that."

"Don't worry, there's no money involved."

Now she was really confused but her curiosity was getting the better of her so she continued to follow the stallion. When they finally reached their destination at a blacksmith's shop, there was a large pile of something on a center table covered in a sheet.

He smiled and walked around behind it, "you ready?" Not really wanting to wait for an actual answer, Morin gripped the sheet with his teeth and ripped it off revealing the most sparkly, gorgeous bronze armor.

Clemi's eyes sparkled as she stared at the glistening metal, trailing over every detail. "Th... This is for, me?"

"This is for you." He smiled and nodded towards it. "Well go ahead, try it on you silly filly!"

With a squee of delight Clemi took to the task of putting the armor on. The helm felt weird as her hair slipped through the slot at the top, but it fit perfectly. No matter where she moved her head, the helm followed seamlessly. The breastplate fit like a well fitting shirt, and the shoes were just divine. Taking a few moments to look at herself in a mirror, the firelight from the forge was causing the polished metal to sparkle. "Eee, it's so sparkly!"

This is a pic I've wanted to do for a while now actually. I've always liked how the armor for the Royal Guard ponies looked. I knew that Clemi would never be good enough quality to be a guard(she's a lover, not a fighter) but I still wanted to design a suit of armor for her. After seeing Rainbow Dash putting on the crystal armor in the new Crystal Fair song released as a season 3 preview, I decided now was the time.

Since her cutie mark was covered, I wanted to incorporate it into the design. Her normal cutie mark includes my tablet pen, 2 leaves, and an orange swirl. Both types of leaves are incorportated (The yellow on on her cutie mark is etched into the armor, the red one is the gem as well as the detail on the shoes and corners) as well as the swirl well naturally you can see just by looking at it.

Umm dunno what else to say but, enjoy everypony! I know I do X3
