I'm not surprised. This was totally normal and acceptable behavior in those places at those times. I like how Lyna pointed out that, even if it's not common practice to have actual "concubines" in Greece, there are still men who want to have them. Read: there are still men that want to have affairs. Keep in mind that in Greece around this time, same-sex relationships between men were perfectly normal, and not considered affairs or "concubines" at all!
