After making a backup or copy of '/usr/share/unity/icons/launcher_bfb.png', save this as /usr/share/unity/icons/launcher_bfb.png and then use alt+f2 to bring up a run dialog to execute setsid unity to reset the icon. Do not run that command from a terminal as it usually screws things up and people always complain that it gets stuck. Alternatively, you could log out and log back in instead.
