I took this picture several years ago, with an old mobile phone. I wanted to express a feeling of contrasts: contrasts as the ones between life and death, betwean fear and calmness, betwean war and peace. I also wanted to convey a feeling of how these things follow each other: how war leaves place to peace, calmness and happiness to fear and then back to calmness, life leads to death that then leads to new life.
