food?.. yes, one could mention food... wild game roaming the forests... in savage eras.. times following closely those of lain waste and darkness yes.. the pigs found niche upon an overwelcoming ecodome.. but later empire..? the pig not being quite graceful enough for the beauty of curated forestry found.... other repurposement within a less welcoming ecocorplexus.. in possession of a quite favorable similarity in gene presentation to man... the early students of 'mixtures' had manipulated, isolated, reassigned, divined an upright version of the pig within the first few years.. curation, application, introduction of intellect and vocal ability followed shortly after... the unfortunate subsequent events lead to the current state of unrest... the latent intentionality underlying the humble existence of the forest pig was unestimated... not underestimated.. that is.. it was not estimated at all by those undertaking these blasphemous projects... and then... granted these abilities... it took very little time before these mixtures had splintered from the appointed service roles to which they were assigned.. there was killing, there was destruction of communities, laboratories, infrastructure, etc.. hatred developed on both sides.. human, mixture, extraplanetary, innerplanetary.. there was even a sect of humans that would use these mixtures as food.. proclaiming no divine differentiation from the forest pig.. hams, chops, ribs.. confusion on all fronts.. there was a great purge following this failure.. all records.. even the country names were burned, scourged, buried, wiped from record.. but no secrets are ever truly so.. are they...
