it was only called a feathered serpent because that's the best word they had at the time.. and it wasn't a serpent that was seen with the "eyes" we consider our "seeing" organ now.. the imagination (inner sight) worked differently back then.. even the "second sighted" of old celt lore had an already compromised version of what the imagination could do before coca cola and cultural genocide and gasoline and before the printing press and before factories and coal mines and insane asylums........ those neuro-channels do still exist within man.. and can be used to see.... the things we used to see.. the things that still swim in these waters all around us... right now even..
