but we didn't see it that way.. for one thing it spoke to us.. all four of the heads.. and each one in a different language.. the one on the bottom had two tongues and spoke two languages with two voices and two seemingly different dialects at the same time.. very confusing.. but that isn't where we ran into trouble.. as we were used to deciphering the most complex communications of which one could conceive by then.. the trouble came when objects in the hut started to levitate and melt like hot wax upon this kabob's apparent rising temper.. we weren't sure what we did to anger it.. but that detail became irrelevant as members of our group began dropping to the ground.. scalded by melted flying dinnerware and room decor, concussed by telekinetically tossed furniture and vases and wall hangings, one intern was himself thrown through one of the thatch windows and into some dangerous looking plants outside.. action was of immediate importance.. though we knew not what type of action.. we fled.. after we were something i judged to be about 2 miles from the settlement and felt somewhat out of immediate danger we slowed to a walk and began to collect ourselves.. that's when we heard it for the first time.. distant at first.. but unmistakable.. our terror and exhaustion seemed suddenly... hopeful..... could it be?....
