Hey, look! I did find something else to post, and it's recent as well. This was this year in AP art, for my fairytale concentration (wow those of you who've looked through my gallery must be getting tired of that phrase...). It's also a hand, which means it was a last-minute rush job. When I say "rush" I mean, "oh crap I'm supposed to have six pieces by Friday it's Wednesday and I only have two."

Anyway, this is my interpretation of "the boy who cried wolf" in a modern day setting...Hardly anyone "got" this one, though. Mom's the only one who picked up on it without missing a beat. ^_^

Mechanical pencil
The reference photo (obviously sans wolf shadows) was taken by me. The hand belongs to a friend, to whom I'm very grateful for letting me drag her all over school looking for a fire alarm which wasn't covered in clear plastic to keep people from pulling them. Then my generous friend posed in a very incriminating way which would have been hard to explain had we been caught. ^^'
