Literature-
Other-

Weapons:
Yuri is equiped with a large arsenal of weaponry. A large assortment of handguns, of all caliburs and sizes, slug-throwing and energy-throwing, and an even more impressive array of heavy weapons, including a guided missile launcher and a laser cannon specifically designed for anti-tank warfare, a large number of gatling guns, and several different types of flamethrowers.
As well, he has a fine assortment of knives, from folding knives, to butterfly knives, rope knives, industrial knives, hunting knives, and several foot-long daggers.
Hidden inside of Yuri's right arm is a small handgun, with minimal stopping-power, that must be reloaded (with some level of difficulty) after only 8 shots.
Obviously, he only uses what he can carry at any given time, but he always carries at least two guns, not including the one hidden in his arm, and a knife.

Character Description:
Face-
Yuri's face is sharp, and his skin firm, his young face belying his true age and experience. His skin is tanned a perfect golden-brown, contrasting with his shimmering silver hair, which he keeps short. His ears are long and pointed, and when he smiles, it is easily noticed that his canine teeth are pointed as well, and considerably sharped than a human's. A green slash adorns his right cheekbone.
Though it is nearly impossible to notice, Yuri's left eye is bionic, as his real eye was lost long ago. It is equipped with an infrared sensor, and a powerful microprocessor wired into his brain, allowing him to interface with some computers while simply looking at them.
Body-
Yuri is tall and well-built, with broad shoulders, a well-toned chest, washboard abs, and runner's legs. He is by no means huge, maintaining a swimmer's body to keep a balance of speed and strength. He has a number of scars, including three on his left arm, one across his stomach, and one in the center of his back.
Yuri's right arm is robotic, and a patch of skin on his chest is prosthetic. His arm is extremely flexible, highly durable, and coated with a state-of-the-art prosthetic flesh, perfectly simulating the look, feel, and smell of his actual skin. The mechanics of the arm are fused completely with his flesh-and-blood body, and function as though it were part of the natural body itself, complete with full connection to the nervous system.
Attire-
Yuri's outfit is subject to change nearly every time you see him, as he recreates his identity on a regular basis. He rarely wears formal attire, feeling far too restricted in it. His uniform from his days in the space police forces hangs unused in his closet, and has done for years.
When visiting less developed worlds, and even when lounging about the 'Ragnarok,' Yuri wears casual street clothes. A pair of jeans or cargo pants and a t-shirt, while inexpensive, can do wonders for keeping one's cover.
While offworld, or on a hunt, he wears something a bit more abstract. Obviously, baggy clothes in a high-speed, high-stakes battle for your life are undesirable, so his clothes tend to be made of a durable carbon fiber that conforms to his body.

Personality:
Casual Personality-
Yuri is confident and easygoing. He is usually a very sociable person, although there are times he would rather eat his own shoes than talk with someone. He loves to drink, and even more, he loves women. He can be a bit obnoxious sometimes, but he usually means well. While in battle he likes to think ahead, life tends to carry him along for the ride, and as such, he often ends up in unfavorable situations.
Battle-
Yuri will always wait for his opponent to make the first move, and judge them based on it, moving in to attack when and if he sees an opening, or tightening his defense in the case of a tough opponent.
Speech-
Yuri speeks with a clear voice, a casual tone, and an air of confidence. He uses contractions and abbreviations, but doesn't like to rush his sentences.
Habits-
Yuri avoid forming telling habits to keep from being recognized after changing his identity. However, he does have a habit of flashy gunmanship, and always spins his handgun 3 times backwards before holstering it.

History:

Childhood-
Yuri never knew his parents as a child. Like all of his family, he was handed off at a young age, to experience the universe firsthand. He lived all his life in space, growing up on various freighters, and was exposed to a great deal of cultures and ideas. He grew quickly, and finally set foot into civilization, ending his first great spacefaring period.
Yuri's first forrays into civilization were on frontier worlds, inhabited mostly by Sollen and humans, before the Fols became a major part of galactic politics. He would mingle with the humanoid races, take jobs among them, and eventually move on. He learned a great many trade skills this way. For a few thousand years, when he became bored with people, he studied books of various cultures, arts and histories, and learned numerous languages. He took up hobbies and abandoned them, always looking for something new to hold his interest. He would occasionally slip back into the company of humanoid races, easing his loneliness in crowded places, and he began to take up the practice of taking women to his bed.
When the Warrens joined the major races of the galaxy, cybernetic prosthetics began to hit the market in mass numbers. These intrigued Yuri, and he spent a great many years studying them, improving existing designs and creating new ones and circulating them into the market before slipping out of contact again.
For a few hundred years Yuri was an officer of the law. During this time he made a name for himself as an adept manhunter, and he sustained countless injuries in the pursuit of dangerous criminals. He recieved several awards for outstanding service, going above and beyond the call of duty. However, his ideals and those of the police began to differ, and he quit the force after the friction became too intense. He disappeared for a number of years, fitting his injured body with his latest prosthetics, and he returned to the business of catching criminals as a bounty hunter, with two android sidekicks that he built and programmed himself. During a raid on a pirate outpost, these androids were destroyed, and Yuri was heavily injured. After escaping, he found himself pursued by bounty hunters himself, the pirates having labelled him as a threat and offering a reward for whoever killed him. Yuri has wandered for several hundred years since then, fleeing from pursuit and assuming a new identity every so often.

Weaknesses and Strengths:

Strengths:
Galvanized: Yuri's skeleton is plated with titanium, making his bones extremely resiliant and difficult to break
Cybernetic: Yuri's prosthetic arm is powerful, sleek, and designed to be an efficient weapon, as well as a functional tool.
Modded: Yuri has the ability to interface with computers from a distance. This combined with his thousands of years of compounded technical knowledge allows him to hack systems without leaving any physical or virtual trace of his presence.
Immortal: Yuri is ageless, and cannot die of natural causes, such as illness, and he has a high tolerance to poison. In order to kill him, he must sustain heavy damage to his brain or vital organs.
Weaknesses:
Womanizing: Yuri can't get enough of the girls. Any attractive lady who catches his eye can expect to be hit on
Hunted: Yuri has a price on his head, set by a clan of pirates, and he is constantly on the run from pursuing bounty hunters.
Luckless: No matter where he goes, Yuri seems to end up in debt. Since leaving the police, almost any endeavor he has undertaken has ended in failure, which leaves him with no place to go and no way to get there, as maintenence costs on the Ragnarok are incredibly expensive. More often than not, he is forced to rely on his own talents alone to fix his ship, his body, and his weapons.
Skills/abilities:

Musical Interests:
Rock- Rock runs the gamut, from weak and pussy-sounding, to hard and kickass. It's so diverse, it can't really be judged as a single category. Most are pretty good, but there's a bad bunch in there too.
Metal- Perfect for those do-or-die situations. Nothing says boss fight like some good old fashioned heavy thrash metal
Pop- Manufactured icons who can't sing or even write a note on their own talent
Classical- It's sensible, smooth, and easy to listen to. It's okay, but not great
Jazz- It sets a mood. And that mood is smooooooooooooooth. Great for seduction, or generally being a badass
Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B- This just sounds like angry noise to me. It's poorly performed and it really kills a mood.

Quotations/Beliefs:

Krais Falc - 4 - Krais is an old aquaintance, and a feelow bounty hunter. While Krais is considerably more successful than Yuri, the two maintain a friendly relationship, and will occasionally call on each other for favors.

Other info:
"Immortal" means that he will never age beyond his mid 20s. He will never die of 'natural causes' and can only be killed by sufficient damage to his brain or vital organs, which is made difficult by a titanium-reinforced skeletal structure.

Yuri Garisson was originally inspired by Gene Starwind, the main character of Outlaw Star, which was created during what I consider the Golden Age of Anime ('round about 1998-1999)
