"He was tall, for a Dwarf. Built like a mountain, and with the stoicism and unyielding determination to match, he was a well-polished god in the eyes of his troops. I knew he was not a god, though. He was a devil. The trustworthiness he fought so hard to maintain, like a fragile facade, was lost in the murderous darkness of his eyes. Cold, and calculating, there was something bound within their shadowy corners, inching forward in every word he spoke. I could never describe what it was then, nor am I capable of it now, as no word in any language I know ever could. And he liked it that way. He was a Dwarf that prized himself on having never made a mistake.

The first he ever did was leaving me alive."

Gannomede Stoutmantle is the main antagonist of "Blood and Flowers". I probably won't ever color this until I get some free time, but I needed to pin down his pre-scarification/mindfuckery design. He's supposed to look like a trustworthy enough man- almost fatherly. But there's a rather cold, calculating darkness hidden behind his eyes.
